Anti-money laundering: Threshold-based Communications and updates of user manual
The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) published the updated version of Threshold-based Communications’s user manual.
On the table No. 5 – Dominio dei valori per il campo Causale Analitica e relativi segni monetari have been included two new domain values representing the deposit and withdrawal transactions through a cash handlers:
Codice | Descrizione | Segno monetario |
As previously said in the news of 8th March 2021, the transactions communicated with the new “causali” will have to report at least one account holder.
The introduction of these “causali” allows the supervision on cash withdrawal and deposit by other subjects more accurate: for the transactions “D1 – Versamento di contante” e “52 – Prelevamento di contante”, the inclusion of subject “esecutore” will be obligatory.
The new supervision will be operational for the Threshold-based Communications submitted from 1st April 2021.
