Bank of Italy has provided directions to Common Reporting (CoRep) in the communication of 28th June 2021
With regard to prudential supervision, the Bank of Italy has published a communication on 28th June 2021 with focus on the directions to Common Reporting (CoRep) of Financial Intermediaries (ex art. 106 TUB).
- Reporting on securitisation
The Financial Intermediaries have to continue to apply the provisions of the Circular no. 288, while it’s correct use, even beyond the 30th June 2021, the 2.8 version of Data Point Model (DPM), instead of the 3.0 version applicable to the banks.

The Financial Intermediaries continue to apply the 2.8 version of the form “Fondi propri” and the directions provided with the communication of 23th December 2020.
Please note that, starting the 28th June 2021, will be applicable the new treatment provided for exposures to the Collective Investment Undertakings (CIU).
It’s important to remember that the Circular no. 288 (Title IV, Chapter 5, Section II, Paragraph 6) establishes the current treatment have to continue to be applied to the exposures even after the 28th June 2021.
