In consultation the amendements proposals to Circular of individual and consolidated supervisory reporting regarding the banks and other financial intermediaries (No. 115, 272, 148, 189 and 217)
Bank of Italy submitts for public consultation the following circular:
- Circular No. 115, 7th August 1990 “Istruzioni per la compilazione delle segnalazioni di vigilanza su base consolidate”;
- Circular No. 272, 30th July 2008 “Matrice dei conti”;
- Circular No. 148, 27nd July “Manuale delle Segnalazioni Statistiche e di Vigilanza per gli Intermediari del Mercato Mobiliare”;
- Circular No. 189, 21th October 1993 “Manuale delle Segnalazioni Statistiche e di Vigilanza per gli Organismi di Investimento Collettivo del Risparmio”;
- Circular No. 217, 5th August 1996 “Manuale per la compilazione delle Segnalazioni di Vigilanza per gli Intermediari Finanziari, per gli Istituti di pagamento e per gli IMEL”.
The amendements proposals are aimed at:
- adapting the supervisory reporting of some categories of financial assets according to what already required by the Financial Reporting (FINREP);
- integrating the supervisory reporting with new items of macro and micro prudential supervision;
- reviewing some informative details to adapt them to the European Regulatory Framework and to the developments concerning the financial intermediation;
- updating the references to the regulation of Corporate Insolvency and Bankruptcy in the provisions regarding the impaired financial assets deteriorated after the Legislative Decree 14/2019 abrogating the bankruptcy law.
Only the proposals to amend a) and b) are submitted to the regulatory impact assessment.
The amendments to the Circulars will be re-proposed with the same way when the document about the updating of bank balance sheets and other financial intermediaries will be published during the 2021s.
